SHARP EYE (Vol.111) - In February 2010.SMEF* and distributor Maadiran Group opened a new chapter in sharp s assembly plant in iran with the start of LCD TV assembly.

To celebrate this news beginning a ceremony was held at the maadiran group s assembly plant in iran, with attendees including Nobuyuki Sugano, Sharp Corporation Executive Managing Officer, Group General Manager, International Sales and Marketing Group, Iran  government officials, the minister of the Japanese Embassy in iran, and about 20 journalists.
A milestone in the 35-year relationship between the two sides, the assembly plant will make sharp more competitive by allowing more LCD TVs to get to market faster.

 The partners look forward to providing LCD TVs that fit local needs in what is one of the largest and fastest – growing markets in the Middle East.
